Alex sees this as his chance to give back to the Learning & Development community that has given him so much throughout his career. His passion for Learning & Development has led him to serve as the Director of Finance for ATD Sacramento. He is a Senior Learning Specialist at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union. He has 15 years of experience in credit unions whose overall motto is, “People helping people.” Most of that time has been in the L&D space, where he has done instructional design, facilitation, LMS Administration, and media, to name a few. His, along with his wife's, expertise in budgeting and finance was gained through raising five children, including twins! This will undoubtedly aid in his commitment to achieving the goal of making sound and prudent financial decisions to enrich the lives of ATD Sacramento members.
