Join ATD Sacramento for this unique learning and development event, where you will learn from Stacy Nicole Williams  a new way to create content for your training and organizational needs!  Here’s what Stacy has to say about what you’ll get from attending her program:

I'm going to say something you likely won't want to hear.  Ready?  Many approaches to corporate L&D are antiquated and overused, and frankly, we, L&D professionals can do better.  Much better.  With all the modernization technology offers our workplaces and homes, the L&D community seems to have embraced very few, on-demand Education (ODE) be it from one's mobile phone, LMS, or MOOC being one of them.  This isn't enough.  Whether centralized or decentralized, L&D teams around the world approach content development in a linear, predictable fashion: They either work with SMEs, hire a 3rd party vendor, or create the content themselves.  There's nothing wrong with these, but what if there's a better way?

There is, and it starts with ‘unlearning’ old habits and being open to creating new ones.  My perspective on content creation shifted when I saw an infographic that mentioned facts like ‘Uber:  The world's largest taxi company owns no vehicles’ and ‘Meta: The world's most popular media owner creates no content.’ I wondered how  L&D teams around the world  could replicate that success, so I experimented by creating the company's now bi-annual Week of Learning event. This event removed L&D from the content creation process completely and placed any and all of our employees center stage.  The result was groundbreaking!  Like Uber and Meta, we discovered our employees would happily volunteer to share their passions and knowledge with others when given the chance, and as a result, our L&D team has since scaled this employee-generated content process in other areas of our business, saving us a boatload of time and money.  In my presentation I'm going to share our success story with ATD Sacramento’s  members and challenge them to think outside the box when it comes to the content development process.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to transform learning and increase skill application. Sign up now to secure your spot!
