The workplace is changing as a result of the global pandemic and its resulting impacts. Employees everywhere are experiencing a shift in values, priorities, and desired outcomes for their work lives. “Burnout” is the word of the year and encapsulates the struggles that the workforce experiences on a too-frequent basis. Meanwhile, organizations of all types are struggling with high turnover, resource limitations, and creating more burdens on those employees who are trying to help keep things running. It’s no easy challenge, and leaders are asking the question, “How do we engage (or re-engage) our employees?”

This session is designed to "question the question" and come at the situation from a different angle. Instead of trying to find the magic answer(s), what if we explore how much we know and understand about the problem? This highly interactive session is designed to ask insightful questions and crowdsource insights from our own ATD Sacramento community, based on our unique and personal experiences with the engagement challenge. Not only are we, as Talent Development professionals, seeking solutions to support our organizations, but also to support ourselves and our teams!

Join us for this lecture-less, interactive group session to explore the topic of engagement. Bring your experiences and observations with you and partner with your peers and colleagues through a series of inquiries that might just change your perspective about engagement.

Bring a notepad and your contact information and make connections and increase your resources.

Dinner will be served!

COVID-19: Masks are highly recommended, but not required.

This course will also be offered in virtual format via Zoom. Please choose your desired course format when registering.
