Best Practices for Virtual Engagement
with Katrina Kennedy

Virtual Workshop

February 23, 2021 • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

How do you keep learners' attention when their worlds are filled with distractions? Knowing engagement best practices, including how to lead a discussion, brainstorm, and deliver instruction in a virtual environment, is critical to training success. Together we will explore how to keep learners engaged, active, and eager to implement your training objectives.

After this workshop you will be able to:

  1. Identify methods to prepare learners for the virtual environment.
  2. Use virtual engagement tools including – annotation, white board, breakout rooms, share screens, polling, and more.
  3. Choose activities for interaction and learning.
  4. Create a virtual engagement activity using templates.

This session will be conducted through Zoom. Log-in instructions will be sent upon registration.
