Join us to celebrate our community of training and talent development professionals – which includes YOU!

We will celebrate our volunteers and 2018 Champions of Learning Award winners, and network over a delicious buffet dinner. Get ready to be inspired with an interactive keynote, Help Them Grow or Watch Them Go - The Career Development Imperative, with ATD Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Dr. Bev Kaye.

As a global keynote speaker and author of multiple career and talent development books, Bev is one of the most knowledgeable and practical professionals in the areas of career development, employee engagement and retention in our industry. You won’t want to miss her engaging, actionable keynote. Bev will help us start 2018 on the right foot – by focusing on engagement in our own careers, and inspiring others to do so, too!

Our event participants will be the first to receive a copy of the newest edition of Bev’s new book, Help Them Grow, or Watch Them Go, before it’s available to purchase!

In survey after survey, year after year, employees express their dissatisfaction with the support managers provide them in their careers. At the same time, managers across industries, regions, and levels uniformly report a moderate to severe lack of competence, comfort, and confidence in themselves regarding this critical job expectation.

What if you could help managers in your organization more easily and frequently engage in the career development work that employees crave - without sacrificing everything else that must get done? Come learn how to infuse career development into workplace routines instead of adding more overwhelming tasks to check off a list!

By attending, you will:

  • Learn sharable research about immobilizing myths that keep managers from holding career conversations
  • Practice a three-step model for holding brief development discussions
  • Understand the opportunities available in organizations other than the traditional vertical move
  • Practice by applying the principles to your own career
