Practical Academics builds and delivers group-based online training and education programs serving organizations and individuals. We pair Zoom with the Canvas LMS, focusing on interactivity for personal, professional, and organizational development.

We are looking for instructional designers to fill out our program catalog with:

• Workshops for designers and trainers focusing on developing interactive programs (team building) and the application of interactive strategies (role plays, case-based learning, etc.). We will be promoting these workshops in March and April, with start dates beginning May 1^st.
• Core training programs for our target markets: rural development (business skills) and nonprofits (staff and volunteer training).
• Soft skills programs for organizations and individuals.

Requirements

Candidates must have education and background in curriculum design, with expertise in the programs model to be developed.  Advanced degree preferred, but practical experience and expertise is required.
