Training Officer I - Sacramento, CA
This position is located in the city of Sacramento. Under the general supervision of the Business Enterprises Program (BEP) Central Operations Manager, the Training Officer provides foodservice management training to BEP Trainees and BEP Vendors. The training is to prepare BEP Trainees to be licensed BEP Vendors so that they may operate a BEP facility or for upward mobility of existing BEP Vendors. Training may include such areas as cafeteria, vending machine and convenience store operations. The Training Officer may also coordinate with outside trainers and subject matter experts to provide instruction. This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time including some overnight travel.
The Training Officer I will provide instructional trainings on various aspects of food services. The TO I will develop a curriculum and produce training materials in addition o evaluating the progress of the trainees.
