Your Function:

Rabobank, N.A. has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Technologist located at our Roseville Executive Offices! The Learning Technologist under limited supervision, serves as a resource to employees - Learning & Organizational Development, Human Resources staff, or Compliance training in the mechanics of the current learning management system, compliance training tracking data base, performance management system, talent management (succession planning) system, eLearning instructional and technical design, metrics reporting, and training tracking –as well as other educational technology applications and functions. Performs a variety of professional duties required to support the research and development of online, face-to-face, and hybrid educational programs to meet Bank, Compliance & Human Resources goals. Regular research and development will be required to maintain up-to-date best-practice processes, metrics, and procedures within the learning and technology fields. Reporting of metrics to support strategic decision making and compliance with internal goals and procedures. Produces materials, graphics, flowcharts, reports and more to support Compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

  • Provides system administration and technical assistance for the current learning, performance, compliance training tracking system and talent management systems as well as other learning and organizational development or compliance technology applications.
  • Generation of reports, flowcharts, graphics and metrics for learning assessments, monthly, quarterly, or annual evaluation results, performance management compliance, leaning completions, budget totals, and other reports as needed by other lines of business.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and escalating all trainings assigned thought the learning management system. Applies company policies and procedures and best practices to manage accurate tracking, monitoring, updating and maintenance as required. Functions as a key subject matter resource for all report creation within the LMS or other tracking tools.
  • Researches current industry standards for metrics, educational technology products, and delivery opportunities for eLearning to the Director of L&OD or the Compliance Training Manager. Tracks and maintains data and records related to succession planning, learning completions, development programs, and other Compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinates educational technology related projects for learning & organizational  development, or coordinates educational eLearning’s related to the compliance mandatory learning matrix. 
  • Collaborates with the Instructional Designers, and will assist in creation of online learnings for Compliance as well as ensuring congruence between training materials and support provided to students and faculty, including style guide usage, consistent verbiage, etc.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Your Profile:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Instructional Design & Technology, or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in Human Resources, Learning, or Organizational Development, banking, or the bank compliance field with at least two years' experience as a learning performance and talent management system administrator.
  •  Must be flexible and adaptable to changes and self-starter.
  • Possess effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary motivation, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Consistently demonstrate tact, discretion and good judgment.
  • Ability to comprehend banking and regulatory compliance as needed.
  • Ability to handle pressures resulting from required deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Able to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, etc.) authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and other creative software.
  • Must have experience with project management, instructional design, and organizational development concepts and practices.
  • Ability to travel between bank and customer locations and/or commute for training purposes – less than 25% of time.
