According to the Mayo Clinic, burnout is a special type of work-related stress — a state of physical or emotional exhaustion that also involves a sense of reduced accomplishment. In this session you will learn to recognize, reverse and build resiliency to make work "work" for you again.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify what fuels your burnout

2. Recognize what you can and cannot control

3. Communicate your needs

4. Squash burnout

About the Speaker:

Antoinette Joy offers twenty years of experience to leaders and teams across organizations like UC Davis and the Government Training Academy. Throughout these years, she has gained a firm understanding of the challenges and obstacles accompanying the pursuit of excellence. For the majority of these years she developed talent in the trenches as a human resources professional. She shares her experience, knowledge, and strategies with others through her dynamic, engaging, and applicable leadership courses. She brings the class curriculum to life both onsite and virtually on many topics, including leadership development, communication skills, talent management, and coaching. Antoinette's greatest joy is providing others with practical and easy-to-implement tools that make an immediate impact. Her public and private clients consistently recognize her ability to educate and empower participants to apply course content. She has a BA in Business Administration and Human Resources from California State University, Sacramento; some of her professional certifications, with a leadership concentration, include PHR, SHRM-CP, and DiSC.


Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made three (3) to five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than three (3) calendar days prior to the event and no-shows will not be refunded or credited. Any unpaid balance due will remain according to the above guidelines. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
