SAT Test Proctor - Sacramento, CA

Join Kaplan as a Proctor for our SAT and ACT Programs! 

In this role you will create a realistic "Test Day" experience for our high school students and be trained to deliver our proven curriculum to help our students achieve their highest possible test scores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Delivery of Instruction: 
- High energy level and ability to engage students 
- Excellent presentation skills 
- Ability to learn our methodology and strategies quickly 
- Active and ongoing classroom management 
- Receive and respond to ongoing training, development, and feedback 

- Distribute and collect exams 

- Grade students' essays 

- Provide accurate timing during exam 

- Maintain a Test Day like environment throughout testing period 

Student Service: 
- Mentoring skills to help guide students of all levels achieve their highest scores on "test day" 
- Respond to or escalate student related issues as they arise 
- Partner with our service and academics support staff to ensure student needs are met 

REQUIREMENTS 

- BA/BS preferred 
- Self-starter 
- Evening and weekend availability 
- Access to reliable transportation and willing to travel to various test sites 
- 3.0 College GPA or minimum 80th percentile score on the SAT or ACT preferred 
- Previous training/teaching experience preferred
