Comments collected about Katrina Kennedy from the ASTD Sacramento 2013 Training and Development Conference:

  • I left Katrina Kennedy's session on building engagement in the classroom with new skills, activities and additions to my “bag of tricks” that I will be able to employ TODAY.
  • The activities and games ideas shared by Katrina Kennedy were awesome…
  • I learned some new classroom engagement techniques during Katrina Kennedy's presentation that will be useful tools to incorporate with my students.

Now six, 1/2 day sessions (instead of the former five)

1.  Build Industry Knowledge

2.  Analyze The Need For Training

3.  Design Effective Training Programs

4.  Develop Training Visuals, Materials, and    Resources

5.  Implement Engaging Training

6.  Evaluate Training Program Success

New and improved curricula from Katrina Kennedy

The course is appropriate for new trainers, training professionals looking for a “recharge”, and has been attended by many who have had years of experience in training and development.  Many enter the training field with no formal training and use this series to attain a formal introduction to training and development principles, tools, and techniques.

The internationally recognized ASTD (American Society of Training and Development) Competency Model and the ADDIE Model have been used to design this high quality, value-driven event for Learning and Development (L &D) professionals wishing to upgrade their skills in assessment, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
